I’m Liam Foy, founder of Cluain Consulting. After more than two decades leading sales and marketing across EMEA in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, I launched Cluain to help businesses like yours grow with clarity and purpose.
Cluain (pronounced cloo-in) is the Irish word for meadow — a place where growth is nurtured, and space is created for fresh thinking. That’s the spirit I bring to every client relationship.
Why I Started Cluain Consulting
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with technical sales teams, OEMs, distributors, and commercial leaders trying to solve the same core challenge:
“Why isn’t our sales strategy delivering the results we expected?”
In most cases, the problem wasn’t with the product or the team — it was the gap between strategy and execution. Sales was out of sync with operations, finance, or leadership. There was energy — but no alignment.
